From all of us here at LyteShot, we’d like to extend all the best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a very happy new year! As we look back on this year we are very grateful to all our fans and followers for supporting our vision for “a more augmented reality.” We are very proud of what we have accomplished in 2015, most notably the CES 2015 Innovation Award where we introduced our game Assassin using Epson’s BT-200 Moverio smartglasses, received the Augmented World Expo (AWE) 2015 Auggie Award for Best Game, and the ‘Most Creative & Original Project Award’ at Game Connection 2015. And most recently, this week LyteShot was named as one of the “50 on Fire” by Chicago Inno for our innovation as a tech start up in Chicago. Be sure to check out the fun video of Mark and Stephanie here:
So as you can see it was indeed a momentous year for us giving us much for which to be grateful. We traveled the country quite a bit in 2015 meeting with thousands of fans and followers who continue to help us broaden our community outreach and continue to grow the passion for the platform.
Besides ‘lyteing up’ CES and Game Connection, we were at many various conventions and demoed games at GDC, Chi-Fi, and AWE just to name a few. And we were humbled and honored to have been named as one of the eight finalists at SXSW pitch competition in the Entertainment Category after having had a massive turnout to participate in some killer games of “Assassin:The Game” and also showed off our coming game “Besieged” at SXSW Gaming.
And throughout the year, LyteShot CEO Mark Ladd was asked to speak at many of the conventions/ events around the country, including most recently the Cloud Gaming Summit in San Francisco, Digital Hollywood AR/VR Summit in Los Angeles, and WEST (Wearable Entertainment & Sports Toronto) in Toronto, Canada.
With the help of our supporters’ votes, Mark has once again been selected to speak about Augmented Reality Gaming at SXSW 2016 in Austin, TX and continuing to build upon the success of this past year.
We could not have imagined all of the tremendous support and enthusiasm that we have received towards making LyteShot and Interactive Augmented Reality Gaming a reality. A special thanks to our hardworking team, consultants, advisors and friends, and an even bigger thank you to all our LyteShot followers, with whom we could not have gotten this far without all of you so thank you for sharing in our vision and hanging in there while we continue to get everything ready for launch. We are excited to share all that we have been working on in the new year.
Happy holidays to you all – and get ready to Lyte Em Up in 2016!!!
